(Day 12) Overcoming Fear of the Unknown Future

Don’t you wish you had a magic ball that would tell you what your future looked like? Or maybe you don’t really want to know your future but you simply want a guarantee of all things good to happen?

Yeah me too. But guess what?

Truth is… we live in a fallen world. A world that pulls us in directions of evil and good, morality and immorality, guilt and grace. We are human and therefore we are subject to humanity’s rules of death and sorrow, longing and strive, hardships and sufferings. Yet, things change when we become believers of Christ.

You see, as believers in Christ we have a greater hope and belief that someONE (God) knows all things and desires good things to come to those who believe in Him (Romans 8:28). We have an assurance of that hope based on faith even though things may be unseen to us for our future, nothing is unseen or unknown to God (Hebrews 11:1). We have confidence that our suffering isn’t for nothing and we can still find joy amidst our circumstances (Romans 5:3-5). We can rest assured that God loves us (John 3:16)) and created us with a plan and purpose even before we took our first breath of life (Psalm 139:13).

Do you believe this? Wait… not just believe it, but do you live it? Perhaps you need me to dissect this concept a bit more for you.

Let me share with you now about how to overcome this fear of the unknown which can relate to our anxiety struggles, with the truth of what is known… (Watch Video Below!)
