A light bolt went off in my head as I ran over to the next station. Answering the question on the screen, it released another clue with a video demonstrating some sort of pattern requiring multiple buttons being pressed at a certain beat. It was the next clue.
My husband and I played this game a few months ago with friends. One of those escape rooms with multiple clues to answer by a certain period of time to receive the prize at the end. We got 98% of the way through it but failed to solve the last question before the time was up.
In some ways, I feel like our current journey has been a succession of multiple clues directing us to God’s plan for us.
I honestly don’t know what’s going to happen, but I know God has a plan.
There has been a lot of interesting things happening to us over the past 6 months. In many instances, it feels similar to uncovering clues like this game we played: seeing glimpses of the path and plan God has for us.
It feels daunting at times. Because this dream is bigger than we can carry on our own. It’s a vision that keeps expanding and demonstrates hints of more possibilities than we thought were possible, at least this early on in the game. God is the Master orchestrator though. He knows what He’s doing. We simply have to respond and prayerfully obey to experience what He has for us in this adventure.
I wish I could tell you more of the details of what this dream is possibly evolving to, but it feels premature to share with everyone just yet. Some things aren’t the right time to be shared yet. I’m timid to even say what I’ve shared with you all. But I feel the need to in order to ask that you would hold us up in prayer as we navigate the best path, plan and purpose for this place the way God desires it to be laid out.
Soon, I will be sharing more on the practical side about how you too can get involved in helping us make this Christian events/retreats/wedding center dream a reality. We have the 501c3 set up for the ministry portion of this property and need monetary gifts (which is a tax write-off) to propel us towards this goal and mission of getting Seven Springs Ranch in Emmett, Idaho up and running by April. We also need donations of multiple items for the buildings we are creating on the property: furniture and beds for bunkhouses and coffee shop/book store items. Pray about how God wants you to become involved and don’t be afraid to reach out if you have any questions!
This is a huge task that we can’t do on our own. We will need all the help we can get to create a place where others can be refined and restored through Him.
